She grew up in a family of trades, being raised by an awesome single Father and heavily influenced by her Grandfather, a Welder and Millwright. So once Katie completed a local Welding Program, she followed in her Grandpa’s footsteps and never looked back!

The Millwrights were looking for welders and his teacher selected him and a couple others to take a weld test at the hall on a Friday. Lucas passed the test and started work on Monday! His Grandpa was a Union Millwright in Detroit for Ford and when Lucas asked his Dad what a millwright was, he would always say “a jack of all trades.” He began working with APM in 2016, totaling 7 years to date!
