Reflections ... Our Plan to Improve Your Experience

Thank YOU! for a solid 2025. We are working both in the Field & in Corporate to close the year strong. I appreciate all of YOU for the effort at this time of year.

Year end is a time we reflect. Our reflection is on the feedback you have given us in 2025. It’s valuable, and I am thankful you have shared your voice with us. We are committed to act on that feedback as we start 2026.

We asked Katie Maldonado, Communications Director, to highlight our 2025 Employee Experience (EX) survey learnings and the business-level actions we’re taking in 2026 to improve the employee experience across APM.

What We Heard

We were excited to receive 60% participation and 1,545 comments. Thank you for your time and valuable feedback. Overall, the company scored 78% positive sentiment on the core question about your confidence in APM’s future success. The results revealed our strengths in safety, accountability, and learning. Purpose and execution also remained at the top part of the scale for a second year. Furthermore, 21 of 23 questions increased in positive sentiment year over year. We were grateful to receive this data and hope you feel these strengths in your daily work.

You also shared a clear message about areas for improvement: We have opportunities to get better in tooling, collaboration, and professional development. These insights shaped our 2025 action plan.

What We’re Doing About It

This year, the EX Council (a diverse group of volunteer employees) recommended focus areas to enhance alignment, support, and resources across APM. Below are the actions launching in 2026:

How We’ll Measure Success

To ensure progress is real (and felt) we will track improvement in two ways:

  1. Mid-Point Survey in April 2026 (Goal: 70+ positive sentiment across scores)

  2. Annual EX Survey in August 2026 (Goal: 5+ point increase year over year in focus areas)

Want to Get Involved?

If you’d like to join the EX Council in 2026, please let your manager know. We welcome new members each year from across the business to ensure balanced representation.

And as always, your feedback matters. Please share what’s working and where we can improve as these actions roll out. You don’t have to wait until the next survey to share your ideas.

Thank you for choosing to work with passion and excellence at APM.
