Roy’s Journey with APM

Roy first joined APM in 2008 as an apprentice at Plant Vogtle Nuclear, beginning what would become a nearly two-decade career of continuous growth and leadership. He was introduced to the millwright trade through a friend’s uncle who thought Roy’s background as a mechanic would make him a natural fit — and he was right.

Over the years, Roy has worked his way up from apprentice to superintendent, completing multiple journeyman upgrade classes and earning the respect of his peers for his consistency, reliability, and calm leadership style.
