It’s hard to believe we are about to close the first half of the year. Wow!
I am proud of the work we have done this spring – we have made many improvements in Safety & Quality, and it shows in our Successful Outage Scores (SOS) and the many 5* Customer survey responses we have. As always there are opportunities to improve. We will share more specifics regarding our first half performance and opportunities over the next couple of months as we approach the S&Q Training in August @ LDC.
FYI on that note: Our data shows that those who choose to attend the S&Q Training lead safer jobs – they are 35% less likely to have an injury on a job. It’s important for us that you be here and engaged. Please make it a priority!
Over the next few weeks, I hope you make time to Rest – Recharge – Refocus before the Fall outage season. For many of us this will include being at home working on some projects or “honey-do” lists.
With that in mind I invite you to do a couple of things.

Finally, these next few weeks allow an opportunity to lead with CBS @ Home. It’s hot, and we will be active, so My 3 are:
I will drink 108+ oz of water each day. (& I will lead my kids to drink at least half their body weight of water each day.)
2. I will wear my summer PPE – sunscreen, light clothes, hat, and sunglasses, etc.
3. I will follow a 40/20 work/rest schedule for any outside activities and workouts.
I am proud of the good first half we have delivered together. Thank you!
