Meet APM Steam Fossil Superintendent, Eli Clark!

This month’s spotlight features APM Steam Fossil Superintendent, Eli Clark! Eli always loved working with tools and being around friends, which made this industry perfect for him. He later learned about APM from James Ratliff and began working with APM in 2014. This means he will reach 10 years with APM this November! Some roles Eli has had at work are Superintendent, Safety Champion, Millwright, and General Foreman. Outside of work, Eli is a loving husband and parent. APM Steam Fossil Delivers Five-Star Service Ahead of Schedule at Evergy Iatan Generating Station

Deployed in early November to Missouri for a forced outage, our APM team completed an investigation on a generator bearing that was experiencing high vibration. The team disassembled the generator and supporting components to investigate T-10 bearing and corrected the generator and exciter alignment.

APM Steam Fossil along with FieldCore, and supporting teams, ventured to ArcelorMittal Burns Harbor Steel Mill located in Indiana, to conduct a bearing inspection. As the team began their routine inspection procedures, removal of the turbine shell led to findings of mass damage that occurred due to high condensation in a steam admission line.
