Setting the Standard: Celebrating STSC Achievements
At APM, our commitment to safety isn't just a priority; it's a foundational value that drives everything we do. It's about ensuring every single one of us returns home safely, every day. That commitment was on full display this past week, and we are incredibly proud to share some truly exceptional news.
A group of our APM Safety Champions recently completed the Safety Trained Supervisor in Construction (STSC) training and examination at the Carpenters International Training Fund. The feedback we received from the trainers there was nothing short of glowing, and it speaks volumes about the caliber of our team.
The instructors were deeply impressed by our group's professionalism, respect, and unparalleled teamwork. They noted how our team consistently supported one another, rallying behind anyone who faced a challenge during testing and group activities. This collaborative spirit isn't just admirable; it's a testament to the culture we strive to build every day.
What truly stands out are the results: our team achieved test grades that were consistently 20% higher than the average for these classes. This incredible dedication culminated in a nearly perfect 19 out of 20 pass rate, one of the highest the ITC has seen in some time. Such achievements don't happen by chance; they are the direct outcome of hard work, trust in the process, and a genuine commitment to excellence.
This success is more than just passing an exam; it reflects our collective dedication to continuous learning, upholding the highest safety standards, and truly embodying the APM spirit of partnership and quality. It rejuvenates not only our own commitment but, as the trainers shared, even their passion for teaching.
To our recent STSC participants, thank you. Your efforts not only elevate your own skills but also raise the bar for our entire organization, reinforcing APM's reputation for leadership in safety and operational excellence. We look forward to more such collaborations with the Carpenters International Training Fund and to seeing the continued growth and impact of our incredible APM family.
Let's continue to support each other, pursue excellence, and uphold the safety culture that defines us.
