Good Neighbor Project Update | Join the Out of Darkness Walks!

Est Read Time: 3 minutes

This fall, the APM Good Neighbors are proud to support the Out of the Darkness Walks, benefiting suicide prevention and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). These community events bring people together to raise awareness, honor those we’ve lost, and support hope and healing.

You’ll have two opportunities to get involved locally:

  • Pasadena, TX – September 27th, 2025, 10:00am at Burke Crenshaw Park - 4950 Burke Rd., Pasadena, TX

  • The Woodlands (Greater Houston Area) – November 8th, 2025, 10:00am at Town Green Park, The Woodlands, TX

Join the team or make a contribution here: https://afspwalks.donordrive.com/team/371098. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against suicide and show our commitment to caring for one another.

Thank you for considering how you can be part of this effort. Every step, every dollar, and every conversation helps bring us closer to a world without suicide.

The Birthday Joy Program is a Houston based nonprofit dedicated to bringing birthday celebrations to children in foster care, homeless shelters, group homes, and other disadvantaged situations.

Their mission is to encourage a sense of self-worth and a feeling of hope to children living in crisis through the joy of birthday celebrations. Learn more here.
