Hitting the Targets

The APM Specialty Field Blade Team recently completed a GT13 HGPI outage for Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) in Trinidad.  The project was completed in a record 21 days, which was three days ahead of schedule and they did it with zero incidents and no lost time.  The team displayed a high degree of solidarity and their performance was quality all the way. 

The work scope consisted of a 7EA Bucket Change Out, Stator Extraction and Tip Grinding.  Mark Haley and Creighton Powers were on the days and Eric Hendricks and Randall Hendricks were on the night shift.  They reported that the weather was nice for this outage and that being in Trinidad was an experience.  The beaches were amazing and the food was great, and that made up for the less than desirable traffic which was very congested!

The right mix of planning, monitoring and controlling by everyone on this site made the difference in completing this project successfully.  Congratulations for meeting and exceeding all targets set for the outage and delighting the customer.
