Spreading Christmas Joy
For some, the holidays are a favorite time of year. Family gathers to rejoice and celebrate, and presents spill out from under Christmas trees. For others, however, the holiday season isn’t so easy. Many families struggle to provide gifts for their children expecting a visit from Santa. Children may end up feeling left out when they hear their friends talk about the gifts they opened on Christmas morning. This year, the APM + APCom Pasadena Campus was excited to make a difference and we couldn’t be prouder. As a part of our Good Neighbor program, the Campus ran a “Stocking Stuffer” toy drive for children in need that attend Golden Acres Elementary School in Pasadena, Texas. Our Team members donated filled stockings, toys, clothes, and sweets to make these children’s Christmas a little more joyous and exciting. When all was said and done, our team donated Christmas for 35 children! A group of Pasadena team members (Santa’s Helpers!) delivered the gifts on Tuesday, December 19th, just in time for the Christmas Holiday break. Staff at Golden Acres expressed their heart-felt gratitude, thanking us for helping them in their efforts to bring these special gifts to children. Through all donations the school had received from the community, they were able to provide gifts for over 90 children. We’d like to thank everyone who supported making this Christmas memorable for some special children. What a wonderful time of the year! Thank you all!
