Congratulations to the APM Nuclear Team for a Job Well Done at DC Cook

The APM Nuclear team recently delivered pride and excellence on a $7M project at the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant outside Bridgman, Michigan.  Thanks to the great direction and supervision, the 215 craft crew completed 81,626 manhours of accident free performance with no rework. The APM Superintendents were Eric Finch, Johnny Ramirez, Jeff Campanale, Frank McKnight and Ron Kerley. This project included Millwrights, Pipefitters, Carpenters, Electricians, Operators, I&C Techs, Teamsters and Labors.  It was an extremely aggressive schedule with the team working 2, 12 hour shifts, 7 days a week, for 28 days straight, taking 2 LP rotors and 1 rotor on the feed pump apart.  They removed the last 2 stages of blades on each end, sand blasted and cleaned the blades, reassembled the LP’s, replaced 6 belos and made replacements along with new diaphragms. The team also replaced the turbine driven feed pump.

APM has great employees doing great jobs.  Congratulations to the APM Nuclear Team and the entire crew for their performance on the DC Cook project.
