APM’s Ben Andriakos Wins Millwright Competition
Congratulations go out to Ben Andriakos, APM Fossil North Millwright Journeymen out of Local 1076. Ben was chosen to attend the Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters, Newburgh, Indiana competition for Millwrights, and was judged on his skill set which included welding, rigging, etc. The scoring was based on safe performance, execution of different tasks and quality of craftsmanship. Ben took first place in the competition! Ben’s grand prizes were an auto welding hood & many other awards.
This was a great honor to be invited to the competition and through his hard work and desire to be the best, Ben was triumphant. This reflects the high standards of APM craftsmen supporting outages. APM applauds Ben for his high-quality workmanship, technical knowledge and safe work practices.
