APM Nuclear Team Receives Appreciation for Their Dedication and a Job Well Done

When you need dedication to your job, APM delivers. Our APM Nuclear team recently fulfilled a job at the Dresden D3R23 Refueling Outage and received recognition from GE PGS Americas North Region Service Manager, Martice Nash, for their excellent support. Martice commented, “Without each and every one of you either on site or off site working cohesively, this job would not have been as successful. The customer is extremely thankful and appreciative for the support.” The team’s efforts were also acknowledged by the below service leaders.

“The GE team performed very well here as expected. Very few issues and they were great to work with. THANKS!”

-         Scott Daugherity (Exelon Alterrex PM)

“I want to extend a great thanks to everyone for bringing us an outstanding team of workers.  This has been the most pleasurable evolution I have experienced in my 33 years with the company.  Thanks again.”

-         Bill Carter (Exelon HPCI PM)

“HP turbine major, HPCI turbine major with new Alterrex exciter install at 16 days and change. That's a pit stop for a nuclear plant... Great job Martice!”

-         Dan Miller (GE PGS Nuclear North Service Director)

“Nice! Thank you for the focus and sense of urgency that makes this possible!”

-         Cindy Breitkruez (Executive GE PGS Services)

“Wow! Excellent work!”

-         James Kaveney (Senior Executive GE PGS Services)

Field Engineer, Donnie Sawyer, who was also on this job remarked, “The entire APM crew was well above average. The Superintendents, Jeff Calhoun and Eric Finch, along with their foremen, “Woody” (Jerry Summerland) and Dave Lovell, were the backbone of our major. Jeff and Eric worked very hard late into each shift to set the next shift up, not just concentrating on what they could complete without regard to helping their opposing shift. I think that is something that is often overlooked but contributes so much to the success when two Superintendents support each other so well.” Congratulations to our entire crew and everyone else supporting the job for the outstanding accomplishment and recognition – Way to play as a team and own the job!
