Reflections ... Turkey Hands

Turkey Hands.png

Thanksgiving is a great time to take a minute to reflect on everything that we are thankful for. Because of this, my family and I have a yearly tradition of creating a turkey hand drawing. The thumb is the head of the turkey, but the other fingers each represent something that we are thankful for.

This year will be the first in my life that we will celebrate Thanksgiving without my grandfather, Richard Lee King, who passed one month ago. I have reflected often on his life, especially the legacy he left. Thus my turkey hand this year is in honor of him. Below is my turkey hand, as well as my the ones created by my family.

I am thankful for each of you, and your hard work and dedication to our APM. As we close out 2019 and push to finish strong, let us be mindful of what got us here, what we are thankful for. Whether that be a supportive family, helpful friends, good health, etc., please take a minute to appreciate everything that has gotten us this far.

This Thanksgiving holiday, I would encourage you to create your own personalized turkey hand and share it. I would love to see the things that you are thankful for this 2019.

May you all enjoy a safe, blessed Thanksgiving holiday.
