Organizational Announcement - Please welcome Charles Nagley, our Chief Growth Director
I am pleased to announce that Charles Nagley is joining APM as our Chief Growth Director effective today, October 22, 2018. Charles began his career in aircraft engineering over 20 years ago and has deep, hands-on knowledge of rotating equipment. In Charles’ most recent role as the Senior Service Director for GE Power Services (NAM South Region), he provided leadership for diverse service teams focused on delivering parts, repairs, and field services through the development and execution of complex service contracts while maintaining process rigors to ensure outage excellence. Charles also has a proven track record of driving organic growth through service proposals in a competitive transactional power marketplace. Charles will be part of our leadership staff, working closely with myself and the leadership team to help us execute our blueprint and vision.
In this role, Charles is responsible for value creation and growth of the business through the strategic positioning and promotion of union craft labor services and solutions in the shareholder organization and externally. Charles responsibilities include:
Building a network of key stakeholders to leverage for influence and growth of organized craft labor services and solutions.
Representing the company with shareholders, customers, vendors, and industry business partners by participating in strategic meetings and discussions.
Establishing and leading strategic business growth planning for all lines of business through deep market analysis and introduction of service opportunities in emerging markets.
Partnering to improve customer service experience, create engaged customers, and facilitate organic growth.
Partnering to strategically position and promote organized craft labor services for emerging opportunities in the shareholder organization and externally.
Driving development of strategic proposals for specific customer requirements, including requests for proposal responses and industry specific solutions through leadership of subject matter experts.
Driving thorough risk assessment and mitigation planning during the proposal process for services.
Leading growth and sales aspects of business expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, integrations, etc.)
Charles earned his Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and his Bachelor of Science in International Business from Georgia State University. He most recently earned his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Georgia State University. During his career, Charles has led proactive service negotiations to win work which also mitigated operational and contractual risk within projects. He has demonstrated strong customer advocacy through the development and use of creative communication plans that ensure all stakeholders are aware of the value and possibilities through unique solution arrangements. We are confident in Charles’ ability to execute this critical role for our business with excellence.
