Professional Customer Service & Customer Experience

APM Fossil West Superintendent

APM Fossil West Superintendent

Great jobs are accomplished by great teams!  An APM Fossil West team proved this recently by completing a steam turbine valve outage at Xcel Energy – Comanche Generating Station, Unit 3 in Pueblo, Colorado.  According to Xcel’s website, “Comanche Station is the largest power plant in Colorado.  Unit 3 marks Colorado’s first advanced, highly efficient, supercritical coal unit which can generate more electricity with less fuel.” Our team created a professional atmosphere, and delivered enhanced customer service and a first-rate customer experience.  This is even more impressive, considering this was our first outage at Comanche and we were working on a Mitsubishi turbine; a Multi-Year Agreement customer and o-OEM fleet.  This is two strategic imperatives and a win-win for our team and our company. This kind of recognition and reviews from our customers will further enhance our ability to win and perform synergy type outages in the future.  The team of 12 millwrights were led by APM Superintendent, Eric Ranaldi.  They mobilized on the jobsite on March 29, and were released on May 12.  The customer has asked for the same crew to return and perform the outage on Unit 1 at Comanche in the Fall.  Great job guys!  We are proud to have you on our team.
