APM Specialty Services Performs Smoothly
GE Oil & Gas recently rallied a multi-national project leadership team at Equatorial Guinea LNG in Bioko Island, Malabo. They assembled a team of Technical Advisors and Field Engineers from all over the world. The team was overseeing a large project on an MS 5002D gas turbine. Neri Mariani, GE Oil & Gas Regional Project Manager, sent back some notes and comments from the customer complementing the team’s great work.
“I’ve just got back from EG where I have had the chance to meet some of you in person. Let me share that both EGLNG and myself really appreciated your work and how you managed to keep it safe and smooth. It seemed that you all have been working together for a long time and the feedback from EGLNG is very positive. Congratulations and see you soon”
This team performed a hot gas path on a Frame 5 gas turbine as well as a centrifugal compressor minor, plus all auxiliary activities. The APM Specialty Services Lead Mechanical Technical Advisor on the 2nd shift for this job was Steve Putman. The whole team did a tremendous job of working together. This is a remarkable accomplishment considering this team was comprised of people from all over the world. This is a true testament to the team’s unity and passion for innovation. Thank you Steve, for representing the APM team on this exciting project.
