APM Good Neighbors,

Get ready to kick off a busy fall volunteer season! We have a lot of opportunities to give back to your community lined up, so be sure to mark your calendars especially for the 3 volunteer events in September!

We are partnering with Habitat for Humanity and Texas Gulf Coast Blood Center for exciting opportunities to give back to the community in September. See below for more info!

APM will be at the Habitat for Humanity Garden Volunteer event and we want your help!

• Date: Saturday, September 14th

• Time: 7am – 11am

• Location: 4111 Farmer Street, Houston, TX 77020

• There are 9 slots remaining and it’s first come, first serve!

• Minimum volunteer age is 14 yrs. old

• What to Wear: Dress with Safety in Mind

• Don’t leave large areas of skin exposed

• Shorts-> mid-thigh by length or longer

• Refrain from wearing clothing that contains political affiliations, controversial messages

• Closed toed shoes, no flat soled shoes: crocs, vans, converse

We will be hosting another Blood Drive! The donor coach will be at our Pasadena LDC campus on September 19th from 9am – 12pm. This event will be paired with our upcoming September CBS Luncheon, so be on the lookout for more info to come!

We also have several walks for charitable causes coming up!

The Out of the Darkness Walks raise awareness and funds around mental health and preventing suicide. We will have a team at both the Pasadena and Woodlands walks!

The 2024 Houston Heart Walk will raise funds for research to keep hearts beating!
