Six Months at Swartz Creek brings Success for APM Specialty Services Canada

Throughout the first half of 2019, APM Specialty Services Canada was assigned by TCPL to a lengthy project at the Swartz Creek Compressor Station in Alberta, Canada. The team was tasked with the installation of a LM2500 and Centrifugal Compressor led by Field Service Rep., Dana Winfield.

On May 26th, 2019, after several months of dedicated work, the team accomplished the first fire start successfully with no recordable injuries or quality misses. As a result, more work is expected with TCPL, with immediate requests to handle all rotating equipment on site for their next two installations. After the job was completed, Baker Hughes’ Installation Manager, Salvatore Grillo, commented:

“I would like to thank all of you for the support and help received during the course of the project that allowed us to achieve this important milestone today. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the APM team, millwrights, and instrument techs for their outstanding performance.”

This project, like many others, took time and a great deal of determination. During this project, our APM team members remained committed to bringing the highest quality of work every day, and they did so while practicing utmost safety, so they may go home to their families unharmed and with pride from a job well done. For each member involved with the Swartz Creek project, we extend to you our warmest gratitude, and we congratulate you on bringing a huge success to APM!
