Organizational Announcement - Reggie Fields

Team,

It is with mixed emotions we announce that Reggie Fields, our Quality Director, has accepted a position with BPM Microsystems, a manufacturer of microprocessor programming equipment.

This is a great opportunity for Reggie in his career. In his role, Reggie will be responsible for creating and implementing the company’s Quality Management System with initial focus on obtaining ISO 9001 certification.

I am grateful for Reggie’s partnership in leading our quality culture and seeking a continuous improvement mentality throughout our business for the last 3.5 years. In that time, we have seen improvements in our quality performance … the decrease of foreign material exclusion (FME) events and weld reject rates, as well as an increase in quality event reporting such as good catches and best practices. Reggie also further developed our root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action / preventive action (CAPA) programs and led efforts to simplify tedious quality processes, such as automating welding documentation requirements in Airtime. Reggie has been an instrumental liaison with GE and FieldCore, including the rollup of key quality issues impacting our field teams and collaboration on field procedure accuracy, availability, and adherence. Although he will be missed, he has developed a thorough transition plan for our business to continue seeking excellence in Quality, and we wholeheartedly support him in this new career opportunity.

Reggie’s last day with the business will be this Friday, July 27, 2018. We will post the Quality Director position later today.

Please join me in wishing Reggie and his family a heartfelt congratulations as he prepares for this new chapter!
