This past Veteran’s Day, the 7th annual Veteran Golf Classic was held at Golfcrest despite the rainy day weather. In shining support of the event and its cause, APM competed with two teams which included Jake Locklear, Tom Hermanns, Bruce Bever, Timothy Hoch, Kevin McKee, Don McKee, Kevin Fitzgerald, and Ryan Caldwell.

The Veteran Golf tournament, held by Folds of Honor, is America’s largest nationwide golf fundraiser and takes the number one spot as a revenue generator.

The Folds of Honor Foundation was founded in 2007 by Major Rooney with the mission to assist families of fallen, wounded and disabled veterans by providing support through educational scholarships. In 2017 alone, 3,509 scholarships were awarded, and since its founding, 16,000 scholarships have been awarded.
