Delivering Quality Solutions and Results

Careful maintenance of equipment is paramount to keeping our business running as smoothly and efficiently as the Customer’s valued equipment. APM Nuclear recently completed a generator rewind for Ameren – Callaway Energy Center in Steedman, Missouri. The job mobilized on August 1st, 2017 and the outage began October 7th, 2017. This project required skillful work from a large crew of 59 that included 2 Superintendents, 2 General Foremen, 34 Millwrights, 2 Pipefitter Foremen, 12 Pipefitters, 4 Laborers, 2 Clerks, and 1 Site Financial Specialist. Special thanks to Superintendents Terry Jennings and Greg Gibbs, as well as General Foremen, James Jennings and Isaac Smith. These leaders kept the job running smoothly and helped the crews to excel in their performance and quality of work.  The Pipefitters worked diligently, supporting the frame modifications and new piping.  It was by far the most complex modification to the SCW system that had been performed on a generator upgrade.  There were some challenges with the complex design but the quality of work and skillset of the Pipefitters kept the project ahead of schedule.  We continue to deliver quality solutions and results to our customers because of the hard work and attention to details that our employees insist upon.  Congratulations to all personnel associated with this job and who contributed your hard work to the team.
