APComPower recently supported a job at CPV Woodbridge Energy Center in New Jersey. The crew performed maintenance of a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG). The work consisted of 10’ heavy wall P-91 welds requiring full QA support and welder certification. The project was led by APCom Superintendent, Lonnie Samuel, and consisted of one shift of seven employees. The project lasted about 13 days and dealt with several technical issues concerning differing pipe diameters, Hex-Vanta Chrome welding and purging. According to Keith Speaks, APCom Director Boiler Services, “The project overcame hurdles, was completed on time and was considered a success in the eyes of the customer.” Great job team! New challenges are always welcomed. What a great opportunity to learn and grow as a business so we can keep providing our customer with the highest quality and finest services possible.
